My story with how I began photography started when I left my job as a pediatric nurse for 6 years to be a full time stay at home mom for our newborn daughter. She was growing SO fast and I wanted to get better at capturing all those memories and details to look back on. I also desperately needed a creative outlet since I am and always have been a creative to the core.

So, my husband bought me my first DSLR for our anniversary, and I learned as much as I could from all the blogs and video tutorials I could get my hands on. Years later, I decided the time was right, and I turned my passion for this hobby into a thriving business where I get to be creative and serve others!

My mission is to help families have a fun experience and preserve their memories by creating authentic photos that capture their love, connection and personalities. I’m so glad you’re here!

meet rebecca

Hey there! I’m Rebecca -a salt lake city family photographer, wife, and mama to two amazing kids (and our mini goldendoodle, Stella). I’m also a little obsessed with chocolate chip cookies, traveling with my family and bingeing on podcasts.

Relaxing with my family under warm cozy blankets and watching movies together on the weekend is the best!

family movie nights

Stella is our mini-goldendoodle and she rules the house! We all love her so much, her snuggles are the best and she makes us laugh every single day.

I love hiking and skiing in the mountains, taking my kids to the park - really anything outdoors!

I have a major sweet tooth (which my kids have inherited). If I had to choose just one dessert to have for the rest of my life, it would be warm chocolate chip cookies.

Learning about different cultures and traveling to new places is so important to me. One of our favorite trips was taking the kids to India and meeting my husband’s extended family.

I’m a total extroverted introvert and love the warmth and comfort of working or relaxing at home. My perfect evening would be a laid back night in with really good food and friends.

Photographs are so important to me - I love telling stories with my photos and capturing candid moments and details of my kids and for my clients that they will have for years to come.

I love everything about these little plants - their different colors, textures and the fact that no matter how many times I forget to water them, they stay alive!

a few of my favorites

When I became a mom, I saw how quickly my kids were growing and changing, and I just wanted to capture all of the important details to remember. I also realized that I was rarely in the photos because I was always the one taking them! I want to change that and get YOU in the frame. What would it mean to your children to have photos of the way you held them, played with them or made them laugh? What are the little details that you want to remember about your children at this moment in time?

When I work with you, I want to be more than just your photographer - I want to connect with who you are, learn your story and let you be yourselves. My passion is helping families preserve their memories through photographs that capture the light, connection, authentic emotions and personalities of you and your loved ones that can be passed down for generations to come - because your story deserves to be told.

The heart behind my work

I believe in connection over perfection.

I absolutely love my MkIV and use it as my main camera body. The MkIII is my backup.

This is my go-to lens and my favorite for wide angled shots.
